Please find details of this term's Clubs available in Sciennes and the local community by clicking on the tabs above for CLUBS AT SCIENNES and for CLUBS AT LOCAL VENUES.

Active Schools Clubs

Now available to register and pay for through WISEPAY . This can be accessed through www.sciennes.edin.sch.uk

Sciennes Parent Council

To book SPC clubs please register directly with the club leader. The full range of clubs and the details of the club leaders can be found on the link below.

Payment arrangements are made directly with the club leader. Payment is usually required in full for each term.

Please note payment for Sciennes Football club is through WISEPAY.


Please join Active Schools and Cricket Scotland at STV's ``Cricket - a - thon'' in aid of Scottish children affected by poverty. Activities will be taking place on the Meadows on Sunday 24th August, 9.30am - 2pm. We look forward to welcoming you.

Contact the Sport & Outdoor Education Unit for advice and support on the delivery of quality programmes in your school or community.
These programmes include Football, Rugby, Cricket, Badminton, Tennis, Cycling, Swimming, Sports Academy, Active Schools, Duke of Edinburgh's Award, The Green Team, the Outdoor Centres at Bangholm, Benmore and Lagganlia, and a range of outdoor learning activities.

Details of this term's Active Schools and Parent Council clubs will be released this Friday, 15th August, for booking. 

At present we are waiting for all new pupil contact details to be added to the call parents and Wisepay systems. This will be completed by Friday.

A warm welcome back to Sciennes Primary, I hope you all enjoyed an excellent Holiday period!

Once again all staff and I have worked together to produce this term’s range of activities. The Overviews, containing all club details, can be accessed via my extra curricular blog on our website: http://sciennesactiveschools.blogspot.co.uk/

ON THE TABS AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE are lists of all clubs at Sciennes Primary and at various venues across the neighbourhood.

All clubs continue to be paid for through our schools on-line WISEPAY system.

Numbers on each club are limited. Once this limit is reached payments will NO LONGER be accepted. Please access the system ASAP to ensure your child attains a place.

If your child is interested to attend, please;

Access our on line WISEPAY System through www.sciennes.edin.sch.uk

Login with your Username and Password and select Tickets and Events.

Select and pay for your chosen clubs, remembering to tick to agree consent.

Every attempt will be made to inform children and parents/carers in advance when a club has been cancelled. However, occasionally cancellations happen at the last minute; you will be notified by Text Message, please therefore provide a mobile number if possible.

The school and I would like to take this opportunity to thank parents, teachers, tutors and volunteers who put so much time and effort into organising the sports and clubs for the children. Without them these activities would not take place.

Active Schools - Term 3 Clubs and Activities

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and have enjoyed a restful Easter break?

This term's Active Schools activities will begin next week, the week beginning Monday 28th April.

Booking through Wisepay will be available tomorrow afternoon, an email will be sent to all parents confirming the timeline.

All Parent Council organised clubs will continue to run throughout Term 3. Parents are asked to confirm their child's attendance with the club's tutor. Places are still available on some activities, if interested please contact the club tutor directly for details.
